heres what happened:
this ASSHOLE who was living with me last year (for 2 months. hes in kentucky now) and stole about $700 from me doesn't know the meaning of the word NO. he writes me emails. sends me letters. and before i changed my phone number he'd call me about 60x a night between 3am and 6am and leave anywhere from 30 - 50 voice mails.
i thought by me not responding to him he'd get the hint. so i've been ignoring him for a little over a year. i had my number changed in march of this year. but he still calls my house phone (so i just leave it unplugged all the time). he stopped with the emails. tho i'd get one every few months. delete. the letters were more frequent.
SO I suppose in order to get some sort of responce he goes to a public forum, to a
msg board of a band whom i adore, respect and am friends with and leaves these STUPID posts about how he loves me. and how i made his life crap and blah blah bladdy blah. and he doesn't consider himself a stalker. tells me not to flatter myself.

You have no idea how embarrassed i am about it.
I really have no idea how to deal with him, other than ignoring him. Which doesn't seem to work.

Sorry about this guy who won't lay off. I have never had to deal with such fucked-upness. Sometimes you have to be direct. Then, once you've told them to fuck themselves and explained that you will no longer be communicating with them, begin ignoring everything they send you.
If that fails, cut all ties you can possibly cut. Send anything that you're borrowing from them back to them, give them everything they are borrowing from you, change the phone numbers, addresses, stop talking on the same forums...
You shouldn't have to, yeah, that's right. But how bad do you want to get rid of the flesh eating virus? Enough to take your whole arm off?
