A barmaid (...barmaid costume... corsety style lookin' thing. it's red and black. short skirt)
or
a vampire, which everyone will be going as this year because of all the vampire shit that's been put out lately...

I say go for the barmaid. Or Madonna. I agree with the assessment about the vampires. I have a friend who goes out almost every year as a pirate. I just couldn't handle being another one of the crowd, I always have to be something unique.
I'm also expecting to see a lot of Zombie Billy Mays.
