When a = b, than a + b = 2a.

Basically, for every godamned drink you take, at the end of the night match that amount in water. You'll be fine.

Actually , jspooky, the water really doesn't help. (Although if you had few bottles of water with every drink, then you would get to waterlonged to want to drink anymore. Might even make you sick before the alcohol does.) Only thing that keeps you from getting drunk is spacing drinks out over long periods of time. Were talking about spacing each drink about 2 to 3 hrs apart. And who really wants to wait 2 hrs for their next drink?
