OK: Anyone out there have a penchant for dream symbolism & dream interpretation? If so, I've got something for you.

I always have had really intense dreams, and sometimes recurrent themes, but for the past month or so, I've been having a recurrent theme that has been increasing in frequency. In fact, I've had basically the same dream for the last 4-5 nights.

It always involves being at my grandmother's house (She died 6 years ago. My memories of being at her house are idyllic and wonderful...I spent some of the happies times of my young life up there). The situation always involves leaving there after a long stay: sometimes its like when I was younger and spent the summer there, but last night it was like I had been living there- I was packing up stuff and loading it on a trailer. The mood is never really sad, but it's never really pleasant either.

The other thing the dream almost always seems to involve is a cat, and the cat always causes some kind of stress for me. One night, I dreamed that my old cat who died of cancer was there, dying of cancer. One time, it was a house full of kittens. Last night, I dreamed that I had my cat up there, but he ran away. Then, all of the sudden, there was this really big cat who was really nice in the house, and this little grey kitten. And, my dad was there telling me not to worry about the cats, that it was time to get going.

So, what the hell is my subconscience trying to tell me?

Sorcha does indeed seem to have a reasonable interpretation of your dreams. It seems that important people/things in your life have "moved on" in some way, and on some level you feel the same.
