I guess I'm somewhat of an anomaly, a heterosexual male, non-pothead, plant lover.
Played hooky today. The bed was even more comfortable than usual, and as I peered outside at the new fallen snow (although I had hoped for it), I couldn't get up. Then, sleep logic kicked in...yeah...(as the only person in my department without kids) y'know, all my co-workers take a day or two off whenever their crumb crunchers get a little sniffle...I haven't taken a sick day since September! Damn it! I deserve a day off.
So, I went back to sleep. Called up the Brown Haired Lass, had lunch with her at the (URK!) Mall of America. Came home. Chilled.
Oh. I still have my Christmas Tree up. My goal is to keep it up until my birthday. As a kid, I was always jealous that my sister (whose B-day is Jan. 5), got her birthday presents under the Christmas Tree. So, it's only another fortnight or so...it's not like I left a Halloween pumpkin out for Thanksgiving!

Good god... we took our Christmas tree down on New Year's Day, and my birthday is the 9th of January.
