I totally understand!!! I live in MS and it's just miserable sometimes.  There's nothing worse to be than an atheist in the south!    It was really hard growing up in a non church going family; school was really rough on that front.   I was the only one that didn't have "church friends".

I live in Louisiana myself. Didn't grow up here and its hard to imagine having to go though that. Truth is it was moving down here during high school that made me aware I was an atheist. Religion was always a personal thing and a general nonissue out on the west coast that I never gave such things a thought.
