am having another go at becoming a vegetarian. this is my first serious attempt, though i've tried before. the other times were more half-hearted or in a situation where it wasn't doable.
so now i'm in my own house, with my own kitchen, and with a husband that i can tell what to do (j/k). seriously, though, he's supportive in the way that he eats anything so he's willing to try with me all the new recipes i wanna give a go.
so, with the exception of the day before thanksgiving, i'm trying to change over to lact-ovo veggie.
reasons: need focusing tool for better nutrition. i get way below my calorie needs every day (am breaking physical laws here for years) and my nutrient intake sucks mega.... so in going veggie am trying to focus my mind more on how well i eat, what nutrients i'm getting, etc.
other reason is positive prana foods. i need to get back to that.
and so what happens? i'm craving meat. it's been 2 days & both days i've wanted meat. i normally don't eat meat often. i normally go a couple weeks at a time without it, sometimes months & think nothing of it. but, as usual, decide NOT to eat something and suddenly that's all you can think about haha.
but i got me some yummy looking cookbooks & need to go to the commissary tomorrow because my cupboards are bare. so i'm gonna have some fun cooking new stuff.

god i hope i can find plenty of meals i like. that's my main problem in the first place with my diet, i don't like food/eating. maybe i'll get lucky & find some to-die-for dishes. cooking is fun either way.
