I'm getting ready for finals, and applying for graduate programs. Really cool. I just wish I had done it while I was younger. I never thought that I was smart enough. Still don't. I'm not going to listen to the little voice saying that I won't get in, but I'm going to apply to Rice & UT austin. I'm applying at UTSA of course, as my back up school.
I just can't get over that I may be able to go to rice. Thats the school that all the brainiac rich kids went too, and I'll get to go becouse I'm working my ass off. Its such a cool campus. Football team blows, but you don't go to a school for the team.
Don't want to get my hopes up, but I think it would be awsome. I did have an aquatince get accepted to Harvard. The fact that we sit around and throw smartass remarks at each other makes me feel like I have more of a shot. Its putting a human face on the presigious schools that makes it possible for me.
At least the dream of going will get me through finals. Hope to see everyone with me on the other side.
