as for placement... hmmmmmm.... i would place it on my forearm.... like a sentence typed out from a typewriter... so everytime i feel like quitting i can glance at my arm.
So why are you going to grad school? I graduate with my Bachelor's in May and alot of my professors have been talking to me about grad school and if i want to go. Are you wanting to teach? That seems to be the main reason i want to go... but im gonna wait until im in my 30s or 40s... i would love to be a university professor.

Your mother really does seem sweet! Thats very nice of her! So you have to be on bed rest for 12 more days... are you getting up ever so often to walk around or are you on strict bed rest??? Ive heard some people start walking the same day after surgery to maintain flexiblity (my sister did that but then again she is a ballet dancer). I go into surgery for a PFL reattachment and cartilege removal on tuesday the 16th. I'll be in bed for 14 days after that for recovery. Then I'll be on cruches for another 2 weeks.
