Today has been amazing day.
Was hurting first when I woke up this morning, but I decided to punch the pain in the face with my pink baseball bat and keep on smiling.
It takes a lot of work to change all your old habits and the way you see yourself...but I have people around me boosting me up...especially one new friend I met few weeks back who is telling me daily how proud he is of my accomplishments so far and who first introduced me to The Four Agreements. This person knows exactly what I am going through at the moment cause this person has been through it himself, even worse than I have and I appreciate his guideness more than words could ever tell.
It's crazy when you are living your lowest of the low and then suddenly this life throws these amazing people in front of you when you need them most...one sign of the fact that you should never give up...just find new ways and views of the different things...whatever you are dealing at the time...you are able to solve everything in time.
I appreciate my old friends and my new friends who are willing to stand beside me through all the ups and downs I have in life at the moment and I feel so lucky to have these people around me...cause that's what I am LUCKY!
I can't wait for the summer...the snow is melting away already and the sun has been up everyday for the past two weeks as it has been up in me and my mind too.
I love the change...it feels good...GAWD sooo freakin good I can't even describe it enough. As I said few weeks back...I'm not going to give up, I am never going to give up...I will continue my life with my new path.
The Four Agreements are:
1. Be Impeccable with your Word: Speak with integrity. Say only what you mean. Avoid using the Word to speak against yourself or to gossip about others. Use the power of your Word in the direction of truth and love.
2. Dont Take Anything Personally
Nothing others do is because of you. What others say and do is a projection of their own reality, their own dream. When you are immune to the opinions and actions of others, you wont be the victim of needless suffering.
3. Dont Make Assumptions
Find the courage to ask questions and to express what you really want. Communicate with others as clearly as you can to avoid misunderstandings, sadness and drama. With just this one agreement, you can completely transform your life.
4. Always Do Your Best
Your best is going to change from moment to moment; it will be different when you are healthy as opposed to sick. Under any circumstance, simply do your best, and you will avoid self-judgment, self-abuse, and regret.
That above is on my fridge door, so I can see it every single day from this day forward...life is a pretty good game and I am definitely not here to lose it, but win it...cause of me, myself and I.
Hope everyone had an amazing weekend, easter, whatever...to me it was time to relax, enjoy the company of loved ones and time to open my eyes.
