Used to work 1st responder ambulance a long time ago, guess that is part of my roots in thinking of humanity as all people, not as iraqi or mexican or spanish.
My regular job is to sift bullshit; in bush's case, its mouseshit. :}
So, the whole 9/11 is very sad, and in fact I know the sister of a guy who was in it. At the same time, a 9/11 happens every month, here in the US. Drinking related deaths pile up at a rate of about 2,000 per month. And don't even get me started on the tobacco companies.
I read 500+ peple have been killed in iraq so far. That's not true, only 500 _american_ people have died in iraq so far.
2000 afgahns died every month for 10 years in the 80's.
So, I support going into iraq. I wish we had stopped the slaughter of 700.000 in rhowanda, and am glad vietnam invaded cambodia and got rid of pol pot.
Has bush done the worst possible job in iraq, made every mistake possible, turned our friends to neutrals, and the neutrals to our enemies? Oh yes. Can't wait for November, unless we can impeach him first. History will judge him, as a simpleton and a dupe, self-serving, but without the scope to realize he was ruining the country so badly it may never recover.
Don't think hisory can judge him to harshly, simply becasue the great evils being done are beyond his capability.
