I love him and when I finally fall in love with someone I certainly mean it. I'm learning to not let it be at the expense of myself. I also have let go of my expectations for him. If he needs to see me and I'm available sure. If not, fine. I have no expectations. His behavior is old and I no longer deal with it and therefore his place in our lives is vague. Perhaps I allow that little bit out of love and pure kindness. I am one of the few people he knows who does not have an addiction.
