Today, the new SG book, Beauty Redefined, arrived in my mailbox. and I must say, I am very impressed!
The book is HUGE, and there is basically 1 photo per page, and it's printed on high quality paper! The damn thing is HEAVY. but I looked thru the entire book and enjoyed every image (well, except for one that I don't think should have been in the book because, from a photographers perspective, the poor girl was posed such that her right leg looked amputated....but out of all the images in the book, this is a pretty minor complaint).
Some of my favorite SG are in the book, which made me happy. but also, some of my all time favorite girls are NOT in the book. I don't envy the SG staff the job of selecting the images for the book, tough decisions had to be made, I'm sure.
As I was paging thru the book, I was wondering why they didn't credit the photographer for each image....the photographers are credited in the back of the book, which is nice, but personally, I always love to know who the photographer is for each image. Again, a very minor point.

Ugh.... I hope I can avoid bronchitis or any type of related lung thing. It always takes me along time to get over anything that goes into my lungs. So far it's just my nose.
