Today I finally learned how to cook refried beans. Maybe that's not a big deal to most, but considering I mostly improvised it based on what I've seen others do, I'm quite pleased with the results.
Now, time to embrace the last days of summer and get ready for autumn. I need to reconnect with this city since I've been kind of "out of it" thanks to work for the past few months. I miss exploring this place I call home.

Get a bike. I've been introducing my GF to the wonders of NYC by bike and NOTHING compares. Today we did Prospect Park. She'd never been there at all.
