So... I put in my two weeks notice for my job last night. It was actually by accident, heh. I've been thinking about it for awhile now, and recently things got a lot worse. So I was writing what I would say, still unsure if I wanted to do it or not. Then I accidentally sent the fucking email.
After a lot of cursing and freaking out, I calmed down, because it was too late at that point, and I really do hate the job.
But now I'm completely torn between elation and depression. Weird feeling, that. Part of me is so excited to be getting out of this fucking place. They treat me (and all of their employees) like total shit, they walk all over me, take advantage of me, etc etc. Another part of me thinks this was a huge mistake. I'm a supervisor of a dotcom. I get a hefty salary. I have full medical and dental benefits. ARGH! I shouldn't have done that. I'm going to be out of work in two weeks...
So yeah. I can't decide if I should celebrate my freedom or bury my head in my hands and cry with dispair.

I have had regrets about leaving jobs immediately after the fact too... and like Violet said, I'm sure you've picked up some really valuable experience along the way at the job you are preparing to exit. Use that!!! It'll look great on your resume sweetie.

Freud would say, "Subconsciously you wanted to send the email... and you hate your parents."
You are so ready to recover from this little hickup, and will have forgoten about it in about six months.
