"All friend requests will be accepted as always" smile

Hurm,

First thing's first, I always love new friends and thus I would like to welcome first Pink friend Ayres!
And your friendly, neighborhood Rorschach would also like to welcome all the new friends for this week, you know who you are (I hope!) biggrin

The Trouble With Kitties
I've been archiving amusing kitty pictures last week and I came to an idea to make some of them into silly "comics". Here they are, enjoy!
God Kills Kittens Part 1
Kittens Part 2, God Kills Humans
Meow! DO NOT READ WHILE DRINKING MILK!
I welcome your input; if this is popular, I may make more miao!!

The Elements Of Style
Once again on my quest to better myself, in this case my writing, I have purchased a book to read. "The Elements Of Style" is a simple and elegant piece which helps persons to improve their literary skills. Not only will the reader be better able to write, but also be better at discerning quality in the writings of others. I have high hopes for this book.
Personally I value substance over style. But the style is extremely important because it can magnify or dimish the substance of your writing. We'll see where this leads; every new piece of knowledge Ror acquires, he becomes more dangerous!

New Economics SG group
I have made a new public group for all those interested in chatting about economics, Econ SG, see link below in the fave groups area. I plan to make another new group next week called "Friends Of Narnia". This will be a private group by invite only.

SG Journal copycats miao!! miao!!
As I go around to my friends' journals I have noticed that other people are using elements in their journals that I use. I want to say this to all those people: My opinion is not important, but I officially endorse it and encourage all of you to continue! I am flattered by everyone's appreciation and I am highly gratified because I write this crazy-ass journal for all of you smile

The Meat Of The Matter
I met with Sebsis, NewMatic and TriHawK5417 on Saturday night and had a total blast! I'm extremely grateful to Sebsis for coming up to LA and introducing me to his two friends. And I am so joyed to have been embraced as a friend by those friends NewMatic and TriHawK5417 as their new friend. Simply put, they are amazing people and this is the exact reason why I joined SG is to make some new REAL friends. These folks are as real as it gets yo!

Earlier today, I met up with them for yummy dimsum brunch with the three amigos above biggrin and we visited my lil comic shop in Monrovia. Then afterwards, I got to finally meet my pal McG! It seems he and I have a million things in common smile On top of this, he took the time to explain much of the inner workings of SG for me. I'm still a newbie and he decided to take the time to tell the story. This is a most noble gesture and I cherish all humans who have this trait. smile

From now on, I am known as Rorschach -- Super Newbie!

Later, I got to meet I got to meet tretiak and reprobate, but I doubt they knew who I was hehe. I got to see reprobate's cute little baby girl! Aww smile The rep man himself was also very nice and hospitable to everyone present!

Special thanks to NewMatic for driving everyone and letting me meet all the people out there, and to TriHawK5417 for helping make the weekend just that much more enjoyable!

Tomorrow I will post in everyone's updated journals, I'm like a day behind frown

Porn Awards
By the way, I hung out at the XRCO awards on Thursday and met with a ton of people: Stephanie Swift, Cytheria, Alana Evans, Ashley Blue and a bunch more. Bella Donna was there with her amazing tattoo and a new baby in the oven. I went with my pal, the well-known photographer. He leaned over to me and said: "You know how you tell who the known photographers are? They are the ones who DIDN't bring a camera to the event!" Haha, he is so right, there were so many gawkers trying to take pics there.

After the awards went back to BBQ at my pal's place...Monica Mayhem was there and another girl who has done like 300 movies, a real sweetie of a girl named "Honey". I wanted to spread some of that "Honey" on me love

Friends List maintenance part 2

Next journal I plan to trim my Friends list. If you are on this list, I have no plans to trim you...however if you are not but you would like to stay (maybe you just like to read, and that's ok) please drop me a message in my journal this once. Anyone who posts here all the time or you are a new friend, don't even sweat it smile
NOTE: ALL FRIENDS I HAVE ADDED IN THE LAST WEEK ALSO WILL NOT BE REMOVED, EVEN IF NOT ON THE LIST smile

6underground, basketofminks, bateman, Capt4inFant4stic, Dal, desertsailor, DrGonzo, Estrada, Fixxxer, foolycooly, fredfarnance, girly, heathavoid, Laputa, McG, MeNotYou, MissyTheImp, NakedEye, NewMatic, October_Rayne, PimpDaddyShaggy, punkadixon, RoronoaZoro, Rybo, Sanctified, SarcasticMenace, Scopitone, Seantastic, Sebsis, sixblueten, SludgeHead, tattooedblue22, toothpickmoe, verminmccann, WaTed, Willow, zentraedi, _Gerry_

Along with trimming this, I also dropped out of about 40 groups. I may also cut another half dozen over this week. I want to keep my group count low so I can pay better attention to the groups I moderate. smile

For a change of pace and to reflect my current mood, Ror's Rants becomes Ror's Joys for a day biggrin
Ror's Joys: smile
I love it when...
...I get to meet SG friends in real life!
...80's music plays all weekend on the car radio and someone else in the car is enjoying it as much as I am.
...I get dimsum on a weekend morning with a full table of four.
...LOTR extended DVDs come out.
...I get sucker-fish attacked by a girl near my height! (When a girl deliberately hugs you from behind so she can rub her breasts on your back tongue)
...when I see a friend fall in love for someone that's cool.
...I can't solve the mystery of where the limits of someone's love for me are.

SG Pic for the day:

Point.

..and a rather odd question.

Yes, I used to play M:tG. I was rather good at it.
Due to personal drama and painful memories, it's a hobby that I've given up.

Nice coincidence.

I was introduced to M:tG by a fellow named Bryan Walker, presently living in Orange County. Presumably not the same, given that he doesn't look much like me, IMO.
