Lately I've been constantly thinking about Jason Lee's line in Vanilla Sky, the 'sweet and sour speech' regarding my life right now and especially about SG. Lots of sweet like my friends (you know who you are) and lots of sour, which I won't get into. I'm also contemplating finally putting a real pic of me on SG. Unlike many of the members on SG who are younger than I, my job and position make it kinda difficult to allow a pic of me floating out there on the Internet. On the other hand maybe...fuck it, just do it! I think if I can get a decent looking pic of me taken by my pal, I'll post it...kinda embarassing it's such a big deal when so many other people are posting all sorts of pics of themselves, but it's my life as the song goes...
BTW, I'm hoping my good SG pal Bateman in the UK luck with his new love. He is really cool You know, I've never spoken on any intimate level with people from the UK. I have to say by far my observations have been that the UK girls and guys on SG are way cooler than most of the SG members in the US (anyone on my Friends List in the US, please consider yourself exempt from that statement 
). I been thinking lately that as a whole, the people of those islands are amongst the noblest in the world...the countries of the former Commonwealth of the UK still pay homage to the UK even though now they are independent. I also think alot of the US's founding fathers brought their higher virtues from England in framing the Constitution and this whole thing is a large part of the US's conscience in world affairs. I dunno, maybe I'm just rambling...or maybe I'm really happy with all my UK SG pals like the darling Jo, WaTed, Bateman and SludgeHead Oh yeah, plus all my pals in the US of A, you fucking rock! And a hearty ror welcome to all my new friends of the last week!
Also, I wanna say hi to my new good pal Kyle aka Sebsis, my asian-lovin' brother from another mother
and to Gerry, fellow comic afficianado who already knows my peeps in RL

I agree, meeting artists (even musicians or whatever) that are jerks totally turns me off. I won't remember meeting them and I won't be bothered with their art anymore either!
