Happy America's Birthday!!
Ok! I spent most of yesterday at the local cards/comics show and bought maybe a hundred bucks in stuff for presents for my girl geek squad (in alpha...Amy, Lis, Miss KS, Mari, Nic and Karen who isn't on SG) and I spent about eighty bucks on me on hockey cards (busted a card that's sells for over a hundred, yay!), and then I spent another hundred and fifty or so on card supplies. That's a lot of mo-fo'in supplies! I'm getting ready for a couple weeks from now when I'll be getting my own booth each week to start selling cards. I have one trusty friend who will help me sell at the booth and I'll have another good friend to sell online. I'll provide funding and the cards.
Anyways, I want to really badly write a new journal and I want to post on everyone else's journals as well. I will, I promise, and will do so tomorrow when I have the day off from jury duty.
But for right now, I'm off to Anime Expo! Maybe I'll find some more goodies for the GGS?
By the way, if anyone, preferably cute and female!, is in the LA/So Cal area and wants to go to AX or San Diego CC, I have booths at both shows and can get dealer passes. I just need to let my partner know with enough warning so that he can arrange it. If I ever had a geek girlfriend, she would just be spoiled rotten!

PS - right this moment I'm very happy...not because of AX but because I made a wonderful new friend on SG last night. Lately everyone who's read my journals has seen me be a bit down but since then I've tried to take the situation in to my own hands. I've made a lot of new friends and so many of them I cherish. You know who you are!
Also, I've made an effort to trim down my list so that there are only two types of people...people who talk to me and give me a positive experience - either off of SG, on my journal, in PMs, etc...and people who are old-time friends who used to talk to me but aren't on SG much anymore. Everyone else, I'm purging...I don't care if the person is pink, a photographer, an anonymous friends request, someone, whatever. I'm going to focus on a small list, no more than 20 to 25 people (if I'm that lucky to have that many good friends). I'm very thankful to the good friends I have here and the interaction is an important part of my life right now.
Ok more later...sorry this dragged on...I need to haul ass to Anaheim! Err, LA Convention Center!

Well, I know that Jim only takes commissions once a year and that is already filled up. You can get a sketch from him and holly. thats all they do at SDCC. but totally! Tell them Spazzy said hey!!! They know me best by that name
