On Thanksgiving, my mom and I went out to get some dinner together, on me of course, and we saw this strange van with a lot of surveillance equipment on it parked in front of our neighbor's house. I told my mom that it's a government van, which is why it looks so new and yet has no commercial markings. Yesterday, she told me she found out why that van was there...it was because it was a cop van. The old couple returned home from shopping the day before and discovered some burglars doing their thing in progress. The burglars then turned in to robbers and left the pair tied up next door.
It would have been interesting if they came to burgle us since I have a variety of "things" stashed all over the place from old hockey sticks, swords, metal poles, etc. all laying in unexpected places.
My mom found out about it watching the news.
Anyways, my last journal mentioned the photo shoot that my friend and I did for a certain starlet...and here are some sample pics finally! ...hopefully I'm not violating any sort of SG rules with these...
This particular pic I got from Aaliyah Love's TWITTER site...it's the only sample I have that is from the first set.
Check out the background. It's done with an old painted background, a throwaway shower curtain, some store-bought cardboard snowflakes, about 15 grand in lights and strobe equipment and the photographer's keen knowledge in lighting. This was shot at around 2PM, in bright daylight but it looks like it's indoors!
Second set, this pic and the rest I got straight from the photog...after the imprints so unscrupulous folks can't steal em.
That's me taking light meter reading of her face. I had to adjust the front strobe a bit down since it was too hot.
Second reading, now with darker light. That silly meter thingie costs one grand by itself...
You know when I see my own forearms, they look about normal to small size. But in this pic I'm channeling Popeye or something...
Set 3, the muthafuckin' Delorean. WANT! Is it wrong that my eyes go straight past the person and right to the car? I am a huge BTTF fan! ...hey, WTF, there's a hot naked ass in front of my view!
Cool thing is, with the right connections, imagination, recycling and preparation, this shoot cost only a couple hundred bucks. Most of the money was spent on the seasonal stuff you see...the small presents, the large presents and the snowflakes. We got some XMas lights too but they didn't work so we didn't use them. Miss Love is very professional, sweet AND relatively business savvy so that helped too.
That shoot was pretty fun but my legs were sore for days afterward. Guess I'm out of shape or something
On another note, here's what's been going on with me the last few weeks or so...
1) Avatar Movie Forum
Our forum is finally getting some traction. After a few key linkings, the site is now the number one search result in Google if you search for the key words "avatar" "movie" "forum" and so now we're getting some real sign ups. It's pretty exciting for me at least...first web site.

2) SG
I've gotten more on SG lately and am trying to post regularly. We'll see how it goes. Sometimes SG is like work. I don't have anywhere near the amount of readers or posters on my journal but I don't care. As long as one person reads what I write, I'm satisfied for now. Thanks to those who have recently, I appreciate it.
3) Writing
I have been getting some writing done lately but all I've noticed is that ever since I've taken this job I have right now, my writing has gotten horrible. My job is almost all logistical planning and problem solving of an extremely high degree so I think that's why....I'm exclusively exercising the wrong part of my brain. On the other hand I am cranking out quite a bit of material and hopefully very soon I'll have a complete body of work to fill out my Literotica profile.
4) Crush...
Umm...not sure how I should say this or if I should...but I'm never much on doing things that I "should" do. But there's a certain someone on SG that I have a crush on. She's amazing. But I know it's pretty hopeless. I'm not sure what I should do...I have so much to say on this but I don't want to embarrass her in case she reads this journal. But I'm thinking of her all of the time...it feels good to have that feeling but it's also a despairing feeling as well... I'm contemplating very seriously whether just be celibate forever like I originally planned... But again she's amazing... I could write ten pages about how wonderful she is.
