Editors: persons who edit material for publication, and a fairly recent development in my life; one I'm trying hard to come to terms with. I'm used to self-editing.
I send copy to a Real Estate agent regularly, generally weekly, sometimes more frequently. So far the guy I write for has extensively 'edited' all but one of my submissions.
Like any virus it self-perpetuates, spawning into new territories within its host; the human psyche.
The spawning of a new Artistic piece, or even a new genus of Art-form, takes place when an existing work of Art infects a new recipient, causing, within the mind of this individual, the involuntary production of a reactive idea. This new... Read More
So, I haven't posted in a few days. Mainly because I couldn't think of anything cool and challenging to offer you.
So this post is going to be a little insight into my day-to-day existence.
Sunday was spent at GoMA with the always effervescent Kye. It was amazing. It was the last day of the Asia... Read More
I'm glad I could help you re-visit muscle groups you forgot you had in moving my beloved furniture
Furniture, did we not come to reason, that seemed had become mine solely on the basis of how difficult it is to move... you're a legend for coming to my rescue (my apologies for punctuation and stuff. I never was good at all those dots and comas... but I get the feeling there should be some in that sentence somewhere)
The latest version of your novel chapter, hmmm... this I must read. And suitable for publication, either now or later, is something you should be very proud of and is fantastic news. I look forward to (hopefully) oneday reading said work.
I thought it was priceless as well. It's even funnier if you have grown up with Iron Brew, as i have over here.
Kudos on the writen work. I will have to have a read of it ifit ever get published. Then I can tell everyone how I got drunk with you one night whilst you were still writing it
Moving sucks as well.
Damn straight people should apologise if they walk in on you masturbating!!! And it is totally better if you "starve" yourself. I like her. I would be quite happy "being single" with her.
Damn you for making so much sense! I'm a pansy right now. I'm terrified of failing.
As for the house. I don't know. I got out and the policeman shooed me away. I tried to get some pictures. It was pretty funny. From what I could see they used a truck to lift a part of it and then scrapped it the rest of the way over the barrier.
When we eventually got moving, I couldn't pass it until it turned into 4 lanes at the Bruce Highway. At this point, it stopped in the middle of the 4 lanes and people scurried about everywhere.
I could finally stop tailgating the police and zoomed home at light speed.
I just watched 'Requiem For A Dream' and I realised I am in love with Jennifer Connelly.
Not as in "I think she's hot and I like her movies"...more like " I would drop my life like a bad habit and raise a large family with her if she so much as winked at me".
This will be an intentionally vague post. I don't want to shoot my mouth off too soon, as I usually do.
Suffice it to say that I'm very excited right now. Great things seem to be afoot in my world.
This is making me very, very happy!!!
Oh, and I'm absolutely addicted to this album right now!!!
Yay! The Gods have smiled on me!
I've had my beloved sweater returned!
An old school friend dropped into my place just now and handed it back to me. I'd left it in his car after a movie night a few weeks ago! And to think, he hadn't even seen my plaintive post!
Anyway...on to new business!
As some informal research, how many of you... Read More
Your silent party: have to admit it ain't a new idea. It's called mobile clubbing.
It is usually the main idea behind flash mobs.
I didn't manage to get there on time but my ex, Shannon, made it to the Liverpool Street Station London flash mob back in mid-2005.
There she is:
At a specific time on the station clock, everyone started dancing to the music on their iPods or portable music players. No one else could hear the music and everyone's music was different. Those who weren't a part of it were very confused. Some people arrived late and joined in. Others only had time to dance for a short while and left early. There was no specific start or end time: just go until you're done.
Also, my iPod's battery is dead, so I'd have to be tethered to a wall socket.
I look around me and almost everybody I know is either studying, has definite plans to study, or wants to study as soon as they can manage it. If you multiply this exponentially across the country's population, that's a lot of mind expansion going on. Then add the fact that (in my opinion) the post-modernist school of thought is dying and that everybody is looking... Read More
Hull: Well, it was the last time Marissa was going to do anything for me, so I had to make it count.
Alex: So, you told your ex you still loved her, had sex all night, "borrowed'" $200, and have no intention of seeing her again? Anything else you wanna mention?
Brett: Tell him what you... Read More
LOL - that middle one is great, and the last one is fantastic!
On the topic of enlightenment:
I've found that perfection isn't found where you and I (virgos, writers, philosophers) look for it. The proverbial 'it' compiles our wins in the continual battle against the odds to stay on top. I'd bet, like me, you've seen the peak, and maybe even reached it once or twice, and also, such is life, barely survived on the very bottom.
What would life be, if not for the absolute turmoil of love?
Surrender, or control. If nothing else, at least find solice and bliss in your choice.
I wish I could afford to go to Norway! It's somewhere I really would like to visit.
Guess who sat next to train man today?! Hehe. Yes, that is a 40min conversation. Very pleased with myself. Although, I'm sure he thinks I have 1) too much energy and 2) am a little strange.
If you like dancing, you just might like Combichrist. It's a strech, but it is so dirty and easy to move to. Speaking of dancing, I must ask Re when Kink is on next.
Until then, if you think your original was better - it probably is.
Isn't this weather glorious!?!?!
My fingers are so cold, it hurts to type.
