AAARRRGGGHHH!!!!!!!!

OK, ALRIGHT, NO MORE CODE...PLEEEASE!!!!!!!

I naively thought that putting that last post up in some form of code would give it a measure of privacy, and that maybe one or two of my dearest and cleverest friends would put in the effort to decode it.

Obviously I was mistaken in this.

I sincerely thank you all for your responses (and also for your thoughtfulness in encoding them).

Life moves on.

I have a new job.

As much as I was hoping to put myself through Uni on Austudy and writing, I need cash to keep me off the streets (regular readers will note the irony in this).

Despite being the only male in the group interview and the only interviewee over 23 (by nearly a decade!), I have been 'hired' (it's subcontract work) by a Brisbane promotions agency. So expect to see me on city streets attempting to press useless flyers into your shivering hands or talk to you about some lame-arse special offer, even though you're wearing earphones and can't hear a word I'm saying anyway (this happened to me, as a consumer, twice today! How dumb are these people?!)

I'll keep you posted as to how it goes.
