I had my second dentist appointment today and she wound up giving me three times the amount of anaesthetic she would normally use. Sensation started to come back into my lips as I was paying the receptionist and now, fifteen minutes after leaving the surgery, I have full feeling back in my mouth again.

I love my SG friends, the old and new alike.
This evening, we watched a beautiful moonrise over the Pacific Ocean, huddled together, touching and sharing, laughing and bonding. Never in my life have I known a group of people so open with platonic affection, and who show it so easily and unselfconsciously.
I am in love, completely, with each of you.

Tez's sister Dah just knocked on my bedroom door, waking me from a nanna-nap, to ask me if I wanted any dinner as they were probably going to get take-out.
During the thirty second conversation I:
Fell back to sleep;
Forgot the question;
Walked into a door (not mine);
And pined for the exceptionally cute girl I had been successfully chatting-up in my dream...

I went to the dentist today.
My imminent future holds:
Four fillings;
Two definite (possibly four) extractions;
A cleaning so thorough it includes an anaesthetic;
And a $750 bite-plate that I need to wear every night for the rest of my life.
Bugger.
