my 2006 dedicated charity/welfare post.

I totally agree. I've had pets from shelters and expensive pure breeds and have found the shelter animals are always so much more grateful for a home. Animals aren't stupid. In fact, compared to people they're downright geniuses!

Oh, and I heard that greyhounds were also very hyper if they weren't excercised religiously. Having owned one, what's your opinion. Is this just a myth?

I also saw the saddest thing in Cambodia. Someone had tied two dogs by the hind legs and left them on a busy road. I couldn't not rescue them. If you don't want your dogs have them put down you heartless fucker. In vietnam I also saw dogs hanging in a shop window for sale as meat and tied up in the corner of a couple of restaurants. Yuk! puke

You will be pleased to hear that my gorgeous cat was inherrited from a wayward farmboy who got too involved with his personal problems to look after her. So i kindly accepted and being the responsible owner i am i took her to get fixed and get her shots done asap. We have been togehter two years now and she is the best rat hunter i have ever seen smile

Angkor Wat is truly amazing. can't help but wonder how many people died in the 2 or 3 generations it took to build considering the lack of safety precautions.

and back to reality. lets just say reality and i have only ever been passing acquaintences... but seriously, around early october. ive been away since march, mostly in europe and im starting to feel the financial pinch. its been great but oh so expensive. i suppose the holiday of a lifetime is worth it though...
