The season of softball is over for my team. We took first and went to the tournament. It's always thrilling, note the sarcasm here, to know that you can beat all of the teams in your division but when the tourney comes around the rest of the teams from the area can kick you ass! We usually win by getting lots of singles and wearing the other team out with our calmness. These teams we played this past weekend play smack the ball over the fence...girls can hit it to the fence! It was still a good season. I did get to play after having waited 2 years to get my shoulder back to playing condition.
Finally enjoyed cutting the lawn this weekend...mow just past the garden - grab a green pepper and start chomping while mowing. After I finished grab a tomato and start chowing down on it. There's nothing like fresh veggies from the garden. Our neighbors love it to since we can't usually eat everything that we grow. I always hope that they'll do a garden and grow something that we don't.

OPne of the things I hate most about apartment living is not being able to enjoy a garden. I miss tomatoes!
