Finally got to see my buddy Angela, the whole diagnosis is this - diffuse large b-cell lymphoma. It is in her chest and pressing on her heart and she is now undergoing chemotherapy at NIH on a special study. The girl weighs 145lbs. and is 5' 9" normally but she's dropped 5lbs. already. The first round of chemo is done and she's starting to feel the effects. I was there for 3 hours and she ate like a bird then followed it up with a yummy trip to the bathroom. She gets to eat what ever she wants though. She's been torturing her hubby by making him get her Krispy Kreme's and Cheesecake Factory cheese cake that he can't enjoy as much as she is. What's he going to tell her? No?

Next week I will get my turn at helping out since I work really close to their house. Her husband is finally going back to work. We'll see how it goes for him. My wife spent time with him while he was at volleyball. Brought him dinner and just gave him a chance to talk about what ever. She was ready to start telling stories to other friends about him when he was just a teenager. She's known him that long.

The best the news is that I finally caught up on seeing the sets. Oh and I totally misread a board topic and Zarth ended up putting his head in a mop bucket. The toilet would have been so much less work for him but that's his choice. Sorry bout that Zarth!
