On the breeze I can hear them
The soulful gentle cries
Of lovers from a distant past long
Since having died
Although their bodies are long since dust
Their essence is still the same
They long for there lost ones, so
They can love again
What they fail to realize, is
Loves energy abound
Can never be extinguished and can
Always again be found
Once they finally discover the folly of
Their ways
How they took there love for granted
Beyond their dying days
Their spirits will again be one their souls
Intertwined once more
Then the cries upon the breeze will be heard
Not as they were before
