So, before I left Berlin, I purchased an album of my favorite band Scoobie Do, and I kept listening to it almost all day. I've been a huge fan of them for 15years since they were still just a college band.

I've got inked and pierced, so most of people think that I am kinda hard rock, punk, rockabilly or some noisy and loud music fan, but I am not. I love jazz funk, good pop music (NOT J-POP!) ad mellow music. Actually Scoobie Do, their play quite heavy funk music, and I love dancing to groove of them. And their chorus works are great, and I'm enormously hugely amused everytime I listen to their glitteringly-mesmerizing chorus works. love

October, 2004, when I was at the very front row, the vocalist and microphone stand fell from the stage, his microphone stand hit my finger in the middle of the show. surreal

The other day, I saw their show again, and my ticket number was really good (8th), so I kept right edge of the front row for protecting my right half body. The show was so fun, people were dancing to their groove, and I was just resisting an impulse to dance! But it was nothing, just a torture to me. And suddenly it occurred to my mind that this might be my time to see them, which I never though or expected. And I started wondering how many years would take me to make all the memories into good reminiscences. Never did I thought that I missed them that much. I was the only one with top-level crying at their show, I guess.

Their closing tune is always this, and this makes me weeping always. Great tune.

SPOILERS! (Click to view)

Now they are still have 2 more shows of this tour. smile
Now I'm planning to one on December 5th. I'm not sure if I'm well enough to go that far, but I am not satisfied yet! Their music is the best therapy for me, and their show is more than the best! Wherever I am, wherever I will be, even where I can't see them, I know they will keep doing their Funk-a-Lismo! It's sad because I have to admit the day I have to say goodbye to them must eventually come.

But as long as they know that I love them so much, I will be fine, and I promise them I won't be cry-cry-Rokko anymore! We've got many common friends, so I believe and hope this is not our final farewell. While I'm listening or watching them, I am just happy. See, I look so happy, don't I? smile

BANDWAGON A GO-GO! And the show must go on! smile

Do you wear hearing protection at shows?

For the time being, I've come to understand that SG is better in small doses. (A month here ... there, etc.) smile
