Belated MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!!
I got home from my granma's funeral ceremony yesterday.
Her family, I mean, the relatives gathered at her house, but I had to stay at the hotel alone, cos I didn't want anyone to look or stare at me. I knew that they'd be disappointed if they see how I'm looking like now. Also I was sure they'd ask my parents the reason or why my mom and dad didn't stop me, or so. I knew all my relatives would blame on my parents, if they'd saw me.
Instead of that, the relatives asked me why I wasn't there at her funeral ceremony.
Cos nobody knew that I was in the town, but my parents.
As long as I have tats and piercings on me, I am not able to meet any relatives.
I was very aware of it, acutely aware it deeply.
I got haircut yesterday.
I love it, and I hope all my friends'll like mu new hair style, too.
I am alright. But, I still can't understand why my relatives try to know the world and culture keep on changing.
And I am keeping on changing and improving myself. I am trying to.
I'm still comfused, so I don't know what I am writing now.
I feel I've been alone for a long time.

Later I asked our translator what I had done wrong only to learn that as a man and honored guest of the city I should not have taken any notice of a serving girl and that I was actually nice and polite to her could only mean that I wanted to get into her ants...
I was told in Tokyo everything is less traditional and restricted. Do not blame your parents or your relatives. They are only resticted by time and culture. I always had a hard time with my Grandmother explaining my long hair. I often told her that she was simply to modern as a few hundred years ago long hair was the sign of the free man and worn witjh pride!
(that's my Osaka-ben talking!)
Happy New Year! Love the haircut....
Sorry about the not-understanding relatives. You'll be happy (or sad) to know that happens all over the world!
