So I finally got around to updating my journal. Friday was the first day of The Culbertson Mansion Haunted House. I was a ghost, and fell down the stairs twisting my ankle. yay. I then had to work Saturday, which sucked because of the ankle. But Saturday night was fun because I got to guide at the house.
tongue tongue
Sunday, however was the worst day ever. I'm debt with one of my coworkers. Three dollars and a bag a chips. he said I can pay him back when I'm a famous Artist. biggrin
Today was a strange day. I left the guy, and he kept calling, and is now threating suicide. I'm not really sure what to do. I know I have a lot of people who look out for me, but it's not me that needs the help, it's him. frown He wanted me to change everything about me. He completly changed from the guy I knew. He just...I dunno. There's another guy though. I really connect with him. I'm comfy around him. He brightens my day.
I think we may also have to reshoot the set. I'm disapointed, but these things do happen. *shrug*
dirtlits:
Seems like everyone around me is dealing with relationship issues. I just wanted to maybe throw out some things that you probably already thought of but maybe just need to hear it from someone else.

One thing you have to remind yourself of is not to change who you are. You seem to be a great girl and he maybe a good guy but while you feel you connect with him, and feel at ease around him, there are few big problems that I can see so far. One main thing is that people do evolve and change over time. While you still care about him, you need to remind yourself that sometimes things are past the point of no return. From the sounds of it, I would say it's time to move on from that chapter in your life and start a new one. I am sure you both have changed since you met in one form or another. Which brings me to problem number two! You cannot allow yourself to change the way you are just for someone else. If someone has some issues with a few minor habits you have or a slight personality trait you have, that is one thing, but if someone is trying to change who you are completely, that is a totally different problem. A relationship works with love and understanding given both ways. Each person should be happy with the other and love that about each other, not try to change that person into who you wish they were. If you are trying to force changes, that should be a huge clue that the relationship has run it's course, or should not have even started. The old saying, "Let's just be friends" might just be a good idea this time.

I have been in your exact position before and I completely understand how you are feeling. In my mind and maybe in my heart I felt one thing, but I knew I should do something else. I should do the right thing and end the relationship and find someone I had a true connection with and not just accept the relationship I am in. It's like sticking with a job you hate just because you have been there for a while and you have some good memories of it. In your mind you know leaving is the best option but leaving is never easy ... but sometimes it is necessary in order to start doing the right thing.

As far as the set goes ... my personal opinion is to re-shoot the set. I had to do the same thing when I shot Melly's set. I shot one whole set and after reviewing it, I decided I can probably get by with this set since a good portion of the pic's are good ... or ... I can re-shoot the whole thing and get exactly what I want. I think this will apply to your set as well. The good thing is you can review the shots you already have and look for angles and photos you like and want to re-shoot. This will give you exactly what you want ... why settle for 80% when you can go for 100%??

Word! ... and that's my two cents! smile
