2 weeks until 4th of july weekend, and plans are being finalized. yesterday i ordered a few hundred dollars worth of stuff in preparation. what can i say? this is MY holiday. there is no day better than the 4th of july.
today i visited radio shack and made a 4-cue firing system, to blow stuff up remotely. i can't wait to try it out with actual fireworks. i'm proud of myself too, it looks very professional, unlike many of the homemade systems you might see online (though, in fairness to them, they get the job done just as well).
i also got the top off the jeep the other day, and installed my new bikini top (basically just a piece of cloth that runs from the windshield frame to the roll bar, to keep most of the rain off my head). it looks pretty sweet. one would never guess that underneath the shiny exterior the thing's rusted to near oblivion. what i meant was "it's as good as new!" anybody wanna buy a jeep?
