OKidokie - let's see how I did:
Missed the Linthicum Fair - my wife and son went while I was doing chores (more accurately I was playing on the computer, but I did eventually do my chores), but that's probably for the best anyway. They did come back with fish.
Didn't go to the movies - more computer games. I'll probably go early next week - my preferred movie time anyway - alot less crowded.
Did make the Renn Fest. Yay! Solo - but that's OK too
. I bought a present for my son - a flying bat puppet. Hopefully he'll like it. I'll get a picture of it with him at some point.
I took some pictures at the RF but mostly it's not that exciting, I'll check it out and see if there's anything worth posting at some point.
Some of my favorite things:
8.5 months preggers woman wearing purple seethru something mini-wrap, black panties and some sort of purple top - I would have taken her picture but it'd have been rude and I didn't move fast enough, having been stunned by her sheer appearance (pardon the intentional pun)
A woman in full Renaissance regalia spinning wool sitting next to a guy sending a text message on his cell phone (I have a picture of that).
Aside from that, I watched some shows, I ate alot (I have a picture of my breakfast - an Italian sausage with sour kraut, onions, peppers and mustard - yuummmm!), bought afew things and just generally watched the people. It was a blast.
Maybe it's me but there were ALOT of people there in costume - alot more than I remember seeing before.
Tomorrow is the kick-off meeting for my new project - gotta get to work by 9. Agh!
And I also want to start looking for a place to live next week. One of my friends who's decided she wants to get out more (my ultra-high maintenance friend, as Rhana calls her) has taken it upon herself to find me a place.
