Ah... :drool: Work is sucking big time now! I'm in a meeting right now, and I don't give a damn what the outcome of it is. It doesn't even have to do anything with me. I have a feeling this company is on a downslope. Oh well, maybe that means I'll be in LA earlier than expected.
LA...I'm planning on moving there so I can get into the record industry. I currenty work on my own recordings and I have a Pro Tools set up, but I would like to do it for a living. I love working with music, and hopefully I am good at it. I used to love doing software engineering, but now its just getting old. The struggle of keeping your company alive, working to please customers, and listening to people tell you what an amazing job you're doing and then laying off half the company! Sheesh. At least the record industry admits its whores, and in doing so its always profiting. Its an established market that is constantly growing. What I'm doing now, we have to convince people they need our product, so we spend long nights, weekends, and days of our lives slaving away to build something that we don't know if anyone will buy. What a drag.

but you can start with the cost of a flight from NYC to AZ.
and then we can work with your budget.
the recording industry isn't booming right now.
unless of course you're talking about getting into pop music.
that is a pretty dark color.
it isn't good for productivity.
you'll really need bright accents and furniture to create more "space" in your room.
think about blues.
you can get a little darker with those without getting cramped.
try picking the "mood" or "season" you want to live in.. and then go with colors from there.
