...well, sort of. Leaving Delaware. It’s rained just about every day here for 2 weeks. Flat terrain close to the Atlantic shore doesn’t drain good enough to handle that much runoff.
I’ll be back when it’s warmer. Cost of living here is awesome compared with surrounding states. And NO SALES TAX! But... if it’s gonna stay damp and chilly I’d rather be back up in a cabin in the woods to better appreciate that scenery supplemented with fresh caught food, campfire woodsmoke, and fresh distilled moonshine 🏕🥓🐟🥃😎
Stopped here at Mission BBQ in Dover. Got a couple brisket sammies and some killer bourbon infused baked beans, and an ice cold bottle of Frosty rootbeer. If you ever drop by here don’t come in smelling like you just smoked the joob, it’s a sometimes hangout for the local 5-0, but the brisket is sliced to order and tender as butter!
