I was in my local Lowes center tonight looking for garden tschotskies on sale, it was close to closing time so lighting was poor in some aisles. Then a bolt of lightning hit ... ⚡!!!
... and I looked over to find these three concrete garden Angels staring at me straight away 👼👼👼 seemingly in their own ambient glow. And a perfect purple orchid at their feet. I looked closer, and the one in between had shifted her gaze to the one on my right...
And then I saw it...
She is crying!!! I felt both the sensation of having actually been struck by lightning *I have, twice!* followed immediately by an overwhelming peace and tranquillity.
My life has been cluttered with so much angst so far this year. Most of it is just simply The Worst Corporate Customer Service ever that has cost me over $1,000 and it's only the first week of March! Has me backed up into a corner that feels like razor blades cover the walls waiting to slice off even more of my sanity.
I grabbed my phone up and snapped this shot. I swear, under the penalties of waking up wearing a camel flea tuxedo in the morning, that this is as is, not retouched, not photoshopped, not filtered... The Real Deal. These gals gave me just what I needed: a release, a do-over, a reset. I said a quiet little prayer of gratitude, and left them as they found me.
Oh... I bought the orchid. Only $1 on sale. And walked home with the biggest smile that I can remember.
