Hey, does anyone out there want to give me money? Yeah, I know, you don't have any, either. Yikes. Making rent this month is gonna be real interesting. That said, I did manage to win $37.50 at poker last week, but of course, that all got squandered on frivolous things like FOOD...
Anyway, I had a very productive garbage night this past Sunday. I found a perfectly good bike (just needed a little air in the tires, and a good cleaning) and a futon frame, which is a little rickety but works just fine. As they said in medieval times: "Score!" And my partner in crime found a working propane grill, complete with rusty meat fork. I'll never understand why people throw away perfectly good stuff. But I'm so fucking glad that they do.
Maybe tomorrow I'll have an internet connection in my apartment, and I won't have to look at porn in a university computer cluster anymore...
