well, here i am again. i just got back from the bar, where i sang karaoke for the first time in my life. everyone says i did pretty good, i sang "The Devil Went Down to Georgia" and then i sang "Until it sleeps." i think i'll sing some more, it was fun. i wasn't as bad as i thought i would be. also, i'm finally getting my promotion this week, from Spec 4 to Sergeant, i should get my new rank pinned on wednesday, though i'm a little nervous about being a sergeant and actually being in charge of a fire team, though a higher NCO and an officer have both told me that they believe i will do well. i just hope that my team will be patient with a brand-new buck sergeant.... oh, well, we'll see. i don't want to be an E4 forever, you know.
