Such a sad day...I have to give up my kittens next week. I got (4) three week old kittens about a month ago because I'm a foster parent at a shelter with my mother. There was no mother and they were malnourished. We had to hand feed them a little at first, so they think I'm there mom. Imagine a 6'5", 350# bearded cat mom. So they are doing really well now and it's almost time to give them back for the early spay/neuter program. It will be a sad day. I love these little fellas. 
any advice?
