Yesterday was particularly hard on me, and my best friend had coincidentally taken the day off. We spent the afternoon together - we went out for coffee, and then we went to the mall. I was in the UK for my birthday, and my best friend let me pick out whatever gifts I wanted, since nothing really called out to him. I ended up picking out "Monty Python and the Holy Grail" and "Barbarella" on DVD. We went back to his place and waited for his boyfriend to get home. Then they took me out to dinner, and after that we watched Team America. I liked it - I thought it was funny. It's not one of those movies I need to watch again any time soon, but I was definitely able to appreciate it. I love my best friends - they've always made me feel like I can count on them. :-D
