So it's time to let the cat out of the bag....
I'M HOME!!!
Made it back into the states on 19 August 2006 and can finally give my nerves a rest. I didn't post anything on here about it as I wanted to surprise my girl after her prelim. She passed it this past Wednesday and then was shocked out of her mind by me walking into the bar that evening with no hint or clue that I was back.
Thank you to everyone here for your words and your support, it truely meant the world to me out there to know that I had folks back here supporting me. I'm still trying to readjust to being out of a combat zone and am looking forward to just taking some time off to sit and do whatever the fuck I want with my time. Also I'm going to be polishing up the resume to send out looking for a job. I'm done with the military as I can no longer put my heart into the organization after feeling abandoned by them for the past 6 months of my life to the Army. Maybe one day my opinion will change, but also I'm just tired of deploying, being shot at, and nearly being blown up... it's just time to move on.
So, if anyone knows a company looking for a biomedical engineer with 6 years of experience in the Air Force, plus two combat deployments... feel free to pass my information along. Until then I'll be looking at the FBI again as well as farming out the resume for civilian companies and looking at graduate school programs.
Much love to all my friends still out there and to the one I know I'll never see again, Lt Col Holland, DVM... a great man who taught me how to laugh again, RIP.

Little old ladies are wierd and adorable, you're right. But she's not a little old lady. She's an upper middle aged BIG lady. And I'm trying REALLY hard to like her.
