so, my update:

i thought yesterday was going to be a total bust. i had short (but good) sleep last night, bizarre, unsettling dreams, and felt like sleeping all day.

first off, the woman who had the KEY to the library didn't think she worked today, so even though i was supposed to start at 9 i didn't have to start working till 1015! that was pretty nice. and then i was working with this guy lindsay who i just love. i've only worked with him a few times but he's just one of those people who makes my heart lift. it's not attraction. he just has such good energy that he makes me happy.

my day flew by. ciircle came and had lunch with me and it was really nice. we drew a lot.

i got home and felt kind of ill, so i had a nap. i got up and skateboarded down to london drugs to pick up my photos. the HOTTEST guy in the world asked me on a date. seriously, i have no idea how i turned him down. for starters, he was older than my mom. to add to it, he didn't have all his teeth. as i was walking out, he said 'excuse me' and so i went up to him and he said 'do you want to go on a date?' i said 'NO' in a loud and disgusted sounding voice. he said 'are you sure?' i kind of glared and said 'yeah, pretty sure' in my same loud disgusted voice. WTF. the first time a strange person has asked me on a date in like...a year and it has to be some gross oldster? i thought he was going to ask me for change!

i skateboarded down stephen ave and figured out why the cops were stopping people there the other day--between 2 and 3 st there are no skateboarding signs. it's just for that one block though!!! how ridiculous. so really tonight i was illegally skateboarding. it felt GOOD.

the photos from my brother's grad turned out well. i'll scan some and post them in the next few days.

last night i went out with lavonne and ciircle. we put wine in juice bottles and sat on 17th and smoked. well, me and ciircle did, anyway. but yeah we polished off a bottle of wine between the three of us and add that to the drinks me and miss L had at the pub beforehand, and you can see that i was in a happy drunk place. i don't know what it is with me and her and disguising our public drinking but DAMN is it a good time.

i got to skateboard around a bit today and it was totally peaceful. i don't know what i'll do in the winter. die of a broken heart, probably. though i survived this winter and i was pretty broken hearted i'm tougher now, but my skateboard and me....we're like THIS.

today me and lavonne went to ikea. i got some lovely new sheets. we spent a total of 52 minutes waiting for the bus todya. LAME.

i also finished watching the machinist today. it was ok. the ending was a letdown but i like the way the movie in general was filmed.

my moods have been all over the place today. it's pretty aggravating. my head's all over the place and i hardly know what's what.

ALSO: my mom has to get surgery. she got some hernias from her last move which was only a week ago. so please send her happy thoughts! i'm going to take time off work to be with her while she's getting operated on, but i'm not sure when that will be yet.
