My best gift/ weirdest gift was every issuse of The Walking Dead Comic book. It's worth a google and good luck on your new set. Never give up your dreams, because once you do, you'll never get them back. Trust me on that.
Guess what !!
I think I finally got my big break. I got a message from Sean, one of the creators of SG, and he asked me to come to LA to do a shoot so I can finally go Live ! This is wonderful news. Sounds like I'll be going on Feb 26 so I'm really excited ! Nervous too.. I'm really shy in... Read More
Firstly, thanks for all the comments to keep me going ! I'm currently going through the many messages I've received over the last few days. I promise I will answer yours if you messaged me. BurningFury makes very good points to which I'll add one anecdote. I recently spoke to a young woman at HMV on Yonge St. who had cheek piercings as well as several other prominent ones on her face, and remarked how nice I thought it was that they don't discriminate against such things nowadays. She told me that she had never once had an issue and believed that it had to do with one's personality more than any specific aesthetic preferences of the store management. You certainly seem charming enough to make one suspicious about your employer's attitude and priorities.
I think if you tell them nicely that you love your job but would feel sad to give up your jewelry, there might be a way to get them to recognize that such policies are not the route to high morale and enthusiastic staff. You can use your legal rights while making it clear that the issue is only about fairness and you had no wish for conflict but no other recourse.was left to you. If they are real fools then changing jobs becomes an appealing option.
So today was quite the day ! ^-^
It started out kinda crummy.. But as soon as Austin and I pushed aside all of our teenage angst, we ventured out to downtown Calgary. I spoke with Kyiel about my LoZ sleeve. He's starting to draw out the design and in a few weeks we'll begin the outline ! I'm really excited about this. :3
