People often ask me why I don't like having extended periods of time off work, they just don't seem to understand, sure I don't mind a sleep in after a night out, or scheduling another appointment to continue on with my body art. But when you seem to get sick and waste all your time in bed each time you have a week off, whether I get a cold or the flu, hurt myself enough to require a hospital sleepover or 5, or in this case tonsi-bloody-llitis.
So for my last 3 R+R breaks I haven't been able to do what I want, so I may as well stay at work, at least I'll be healthy.
