It is Fathers Day here in the US. My wife and I have both already lost our fathers.
My wife's father passed away at 67 3 years ago. He was ill at the time and it honestly was the best outcome for everyone.
My father passed away in 1985 at 44 years old. He was not ill but overdosed. Even though we had a lifetime if differences, I miss him. I do thank him for making me a better person in many ways but it was his death that made me realize it.
If you father is still in your life, be sure to not negelct your relationship and be sure to never let petty things take away the entire time you can be together. Life is way to short.
