So Dick Cheney shot one of his hunting buddies. Show of hands, who is surprised? Dick "Shoot first, ask questions later" Cheney is the last person in the world I would trust with a gun. Not to blame the victim or anything, but given this administration's favourable view of pre-emptive violence, I guess the guy really should have seen this coming.
I heard an interview with Kurt Vonnegut on the CBC a week or two ago. One of his more entertaining remarks: it's a definite sign of the apocalypse that three of the most powerful men (sic) in the world are named Bush, Dick, and Colon.
