On Sunday my father told me that this week we'd be replacing the downstairs windows in the house we're rennovating. He'd said that it might be a lot of work. Today, after we'd finished replacing the final downstairs window, I stood in the shower, washing mortar out of my nose and ears, winced at the sharp pains in my back, at the tears on my hands, at the first sunburn I've gotten in more than five years. It turned out to be a bit of work. Yep.
I don't know what I'd give for a massage. Smooth, oiled hands sliding across my shoulders, down my back. Fingers, nuckles working between my muscles. Sliding down, lower. Spreading, sliding in. And a reach around. Then down my legs to my feet. Between my toes. Strong, smooth, oiled hands. Afterwards, wrapped in a blanket, kissed, and put to bed.

reading other people's comments in your journal out of context is very intriguing.
