I was reminded yesterday what a real man was. I was at work and I was tasked with bringing a young boy from one hospital to another that specialized in pediatric trauma. The young boy had "fallen" down a flight of stairs while being supervised by his step dad. The same young boy had the same traumatic episode months before while being supervised by the same step dad. While driving the mother and boy to the hospital the mother explained to be that it is ok for her boyfriend to hit women and children if they deserved it. This blew my mind. I know I have seen it before and studied this kind of thinking but it absolutely blew my mind to have this woman telling me this while I'm rushing her very sick child to the hospital. HOW WAS THIS OK!?!
