I feel your pain hun! I had to put up with the worst dumb buggers at work today, not helped by the rugby scores!
I always counteract this by leaving my brain at home before i go to work, switch onto automatic pilot. I find it helps

DC were pretty lame - my friend described it as being "in an episode of Dawsons Creek"...we left early and went for a beer. MxPx supported, who were pretty good though...
the gig was strange though - the venue was so tightly organised, it kinda stifled any atmos. Security guards everywhere, no smoking, very clean - not like a good old sweaty scummy uk venue!
