Surgery is over. That's good. I'm left with random recurring back pain. That's NOT GOOD! It seems to pop up at night, and no sleeping position can make it better - I wonder if it has anything to do with the fact that the anesthesiologist chose to give me a spinal block for the surgery, as well as versed with a narcotic in it. I wasn't quite out - but I sure can't remember what they were talking about in the operating room. Just can't figure out why my lower back would be having spasms like this.......... Hope it goes away soon - never to return!
So - I'm not supposed to ride my horse for 3 more weeks!! Hope he doesn't forget he HAS a rider/owner. I will play with him on the ground, and work on ground manners though. Not that he really needs any work in that area - he is such a nice, willing, obedient boy!

Hubby has this whole week off work - mandatory vacay - We aren't going anywhere, and that is way too much together time......... Oh boy!
It is very, very hot here right now. 97 degrees F. Too hot to go outside unless you have water very nearby - which I do NOT.
I'm alternating between being bored and depressed. Neither is acceptable. Wish for a change of scene........
