Well, regular riding and massages seem to be working for me . . . you already ride regularly, so I guess you might want to consider adding massages? Or take a vacation that you've always wanted to take and think about what makes you happy, and when you get back, figure out how to incorporate that into your life . . . that's the other thing I did.

Zippy isn't one of the smartest horses in the barn, and she just recently figured out that I'm leasing her. She's still being used as a lesson horse, too (it's a partial lease), and unfortunately she's a beginners horse, so she thinks any kind of leg pressure means SPEED UP (which she likes to do anyway). But she's figured out that I'm a regular rider, who has different expectations for her, and different cues, etc. I'm sure she appreciates that consistency. Our last 2 rides were really good. It's great to see that progress.

No permafrost yet. Maybe one more dinner on the sidewalk at Tom's OB yet this year? I'll be making another low pass thru D in about 6 weeks. Might be too cold by then. I do need an Ahi fix tho.
