I have four between about 11 and 14.5 years old. I had six in 2006. I had sort of figured I might get another once I'm down to one or two. But, I'm seriously thinking of becoming 'catlessdad' for a year or two to focus on some of the remodel projects I have in mind for the house. And to rediscover what it's like to not have cat hair and cat litter everywhere.

Yep, the hot tub comes with the house it's in the contract. God, I need it too these days, what with all of my injuries and then getting back to working out. All of these health issues have made me feel old before my time!

Wow, that is some intensive treatment for Xena! And you're right, horses always seem to need some kind of medical attention at some point. I swear they're the most injury-prone and medical condition-prone animal I know! Sucks Xena's medical needs are SO BIG right now. I'm glad she's continuing to do well.

We went to the beach yesterday and lay down in the sand. Watched people surf in the ocean. Not warm enough for me to join them, however. Brought back childhood memories of the beaches on Long Island, and Sunday mornings with bagels on an army blanket........
